Which code edition applies to my application?
New Jersey adopted its current code cycle on August 17, 2026. For six months afterward, an eligible complete application may be reviewed under the immediately preceding edition.

The window is not automatic. Whether an application qualifies depends on it being complete, on required prior approvals, and on the enforcing agency's procedures.
